Sunset Point

Hard coral garden on a gentle slope off the south of Gili Trawangan — facing the sunset, hence the name. Current ranges 2–5 on the local scale; the same current that brings the manta rays through. Manta season runs November–April, but the reef stands on its own outside of it: reef sharks, sea snakes, snappers, tuna, and parrotfish all year. Beginners through experienced.
